AGE, IMPORTANT NOTE AND REMAINING PRE-CONDITIIONS
AGE:
Aged 21 to 30 as of January 1, 2023. The upper age restriction must be 35 years for officials serving in connection with the business of the Federal Government who are residents of the Punjab and for officials serving in such capacities and having at least 4 years of such experience. According to the Punjab Public Servants Recruitment (Relaxation of Upper Age Limit) Regulations, 1976, a maximum 15-year age relaxation is permitted for selected individuals.
IMPORTANT NOTE
i) According per SORI(S&GAD)9-2/2022, dated 18-11-2022, S&GAD (Regulations Winning) Letter No. For the Combined Competitive Examination-2022, the general age relaxation of two (2) years given by S&GAD Notification No.SOR-I(S&GAD)9-2/2022 dated 26 January 2022 cannot be extended (to be held in 2023).
ii) The Punjab Delegation of Powers (Relaxation of Age) Rules, 1961, as amended by Government of the Punjab, S&GAD Notification No. SOR-III(S&GAD)1-25/94(P) dated 29-11-2012, do not apply to government positions that must be filled through a combined competitive examination conducted by the Punjab Public Service Commission.
iii) Workers of semi-government, autonomous bodies of the federal or provincial governments, as well as those of local bodies, are not eligible for an age discount while they are working for that organization.
REMAINING PRE-CONDITIONS
The first of January 2023 will serve as the cutoff date for assessing eligibility with regard to age. The candidate must, however, meet and finish all other requirements/qualifications for the exam on or before the deadline specified in this advertisement. At the time of the psychological evaluation and interview, the candidates will present the original certificates to support the information they claimed in their application.

NOTE:
i) Negative Marking will be done and 0.25 mark will be deducted for each wrong answer in the Objective (MCQ) paper of General Knowledge.
ii) Non-Muslim candidates have the option either to attempt paper on Islamic Studies or “Ethics” (Combination of both Subjective & Objective).
iii) All the candidates shall take all the compulsory subjects.

OPTIONAL SUBJECTS 3-Papers (Total 600 Marks)
ALL THE CANDIDATES SHALL TAKE THREE OF THE OPTIONAL SUBJECTS. (NOT MORE THAN ONE FROM ANY GROUP)
NOTE:
i) Syllabus for the Optional Subjects is available on PPSC Website
ii) The minimum standard for the question papers will be of Graduate Level.
IMPORTANT NOTES:
A candidate must receive 40% on each paper and 50% overall, or 600 total points, to be eligible for the interview. A applicant must then receive 50% in the interview in order to be included on the final merit list of successful candidates.
b) No changes will be made to the optional subjects listed when the online application form was submitted, and no subsequent representations will be taken into consideration.
c) Online application forms with incomplete or incorrectly completed optional fields will be rejected. On this matter, no more arguments will be considered.
d) It is not permitted to change the examination centers' priority or selection.
e) If a request for a change in the number of posts is received at any point, the Commission must accept it without calling for new applications. The difference in the number of posts will only be noted as a notice on the PPSC website.
IMPORTANT INSTRUCTIONS
1. Before submitting an online application, please read the "General Instructions" on the application fee, written test, and interview on the PPSC website at www.ppsc.gop.pk.
2. Should a candidate assert that their credentials are comparable to those required, they must present an equivalent qualification certificate, issued by the HEC/PMDC/PMC/PEC & QEDC of the relevant Administrative Department and accepted as final by the Commission, at the time of the interview or whenever the Commission so requests. A candidate's candidature will be withdrawn if they don't present the Equivalence Certificate issued by the Competent Authority during the interview or whenever the Commission requests it.
3. The candidates will make sure that after applying for a position, they immediately seek for a Departmental Permission Certificate or NOC in the department(s) that affect them. They will then provide this document at the interview (if called).
4. The candidates will make sure they have obtained or applied for registration in PEC/PNC/PMDC/PMC/PVMC or other appropriate organisation for Registration Certificate on or before the Closing Date before applying for a specific post advertised by PPSC, and they will provide this at the time of the interview (if called).
5. At the time of the interview, the candidates will make sure to present their scores, total scores, or percentage certificates for all degrees, as given by the Competent Authority. CGPA is inadmissible.
6. Candidates should not believe any information that is supplied by anyone other than on the PPSC website because it is not authentic.
7.
